How should a polishing wheel be cleaned?

Utilizing a wheel rake with its jagged blade is the most effective method for cleaning a buffing wheel. Start the blade and then present the blade side of your wheel rake to the buffing wheel. Move the wheel rake back and forth across the surface of the buffing wheel until it is once again bright and fluffy.
