They are made of silicone rubber with bonded abrasive, so they lift adhesive and stain by polishing rather than cutting. Use light pressure at low speed and keep the polisher moving across the surface.
Follow the reprocessing instructions supplied with the item; polishers of this type are normally cleaned and sterilized between patients. Retire any bur that has lost its shape or stopped polishing.
