Green-state zirconia powders away rather than grinding, so it packs into tools cut for sintered ceramic and they stop cutting. These burs are made to clear that powder while removing material, which keeps the surface even before the restoration goes into the furnace.

Which configuration should we order?

Coarse tools such as GZH243-5C and GZH275-6C do the bulk contouring and sprue clean-up. Medium and fine tools such as GZH507-10MF and GZH243-6MF refine the surface and pre-polish before sintering. Most laboratories keep both stages on the bench rather than pushing one grade through the whole job.
