Can electroplated HP burs be sterilized and reused?

Yes. The stainless steel core and the plated diamond layer take ultrasonic cleaning and standard autoclave cycles. Clear debris out of the grit before sterilizing, and retire a bur once the grit runs smooth or the shank is bent.
