Can the polishers be autoclaved and reused?

Yes. The abrasive is mixed through the silicone rubber body rather than coated on the surface, so fresh abrasive is exposed as the polisher wears and it can be cleaned and autoclaved between patients. Replace a polisher once the working shape no longer holds its contour.
