Applications

Recommended for partial and complete dentures, occlusal splints and nightguards. Not recommended for small unilateral restorations.

Processing Guidance

  • Block out undercuts that affect the path of insertion before duplication; retain areas needed for retention.
  • Suggested wax-up thickness: palatal 1.2-1.5 mm, buccal/labial flange 1.2-2.0 mm, clasps 1.0-1.5 mm, lingual flange 1.2-2.0 mm, mandibular lingual major connector 1.7-2.0 mm.
  • Preheat cartridge sleeve to approximately 550°F / 290°C for about 15 minutes; heat cartridge for 12 minutes before injection.
  • Keep maximum downward pressure for about 3 minutes after injection, then allow the flask to cool for at least 30 minutes before deflasking.

Finishing & Polishing

Cut off sprues, trim edges carefully and avoid overheating. Smooth scratches with rubber wheels. Polish with pumice or another coarse dental abrasive on a wet rag wheel, then apply final shine with a hi-shine compound at low speed.

Safety Notes

Use eye protection and heat-resistant gloves during injection. Use proper ventilation, vacuum extraction and masks when grinding prosthodontic resins. Inject opened cartridges within 1 hour.
